Carrie Rainen is an attorney admitted in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is currently the President of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts (REBA), as well as a member of REBA’s Board of Directors, former co-chair of the REBA Standards and Forms Committee, and former co-chair of its Title Insurance and National Affairs Section. Carrie is also a member of REBA’s Women’s Networking Group and Strategic Communications Committee. In addition, Carrie is a member of New England Land Title Association (NELTA), Merrimack Valley Conveyancers' Association, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, and CREW Boston. In 2019, she was elected to membership in the Abstract Club of Boston, a professional and honorary society focusing on matters of real estate law. Carrie is a member of the Board of Trustees for MCLE, and serves on MCLE’s Real Estate and Environmental Law Curriculum Advisory Committee. A 2016, Super Lawyers Rising Star, Carrie has also served as a planning committee member and co-chair of marketing and public relations for CREW Boston’s 2008 educational program for teenage girls, CREW Careers, and was the co-chair of the Marketing Committee for the 2009 CREW Network Convention in Boston.

Carrie is a Land Court Examiner, and she also participated in the drafting of an Amicus brief on behalf of the Massachusetts Association of Bank Counsel, Inc. in the mortgage foreclosure case of Bevilacqua v Rodriguez

As a member of the planning committee for the TomorrowNite gala event, she has fundraised for the benefit of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for over 25 years. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for Acting Out! Theater Company in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Carrie received her Bachelor of Arts from American University, and her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law, where she served as Current Developments Editor of the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law. Her note, The Right of Publicity in the United States and the United Kingdom, was published in the NEJICL in the Fall of 2005.
